Jong-Holland
Jong-Holland was founded in 1932 in Zwijndrecht, The Netherlands. The band started as a so-called "Tamboers- en Pijperskorps", a traditional Dutch type of music group.During the next decades the "design" of the band moved along with the influences of time into it's current form; Showband Jong-Holland.

The association Jong-Holland consists out of four groups;

1. Music kids

2. Junior Showband

3. Senior Showband

4. Stage Band

Style
Today Jong-Holland has it's own typical style consisting out of a mixture of "Drumcorps" and "Showband" styles. Jong-Holland continuously works on the ideal mix between musical quality, optimum show-effects and most important: recognizable music! With this policy, we try to reach and entertain as many people as possible.

This also explains the amount of national and international invitations the corps gets. In the last years Jong-Holland visited a lot of countries throughout Europe, sometimes these trips take several days.

Shows
The performances normally consist out of street parades and shows.

Jong-Holland puts a lot of effort in a entertaining and "easy for the ear" show-program. Each show has a specific subject and the whole show is build around this. The show will take about 14 minutes and will be an exiting experience for the audience! With a lot of musical power, impressive show effects and exiting themes the corps gained a lot of respect.

Every 2 years the band will renew their complete show-program.
Some highlights of the senior corps shows over the last years were shows with titles like:

- The Sound of Music

- James Bond Themes

- Les Miserables / Phantom of the Opera

And the current production 'WorldTour', with music from around the globe.
The 'WorldTour' show consists out of the following music: "One Night in Bangkok", "Adios Nonino", "Spiderman" and "Firedance".

Contest
Besides the regular show acts, Jong-Holland also competes with other corps in the Drum Corps Nederland and Drum Corps Europe championships.

Because of this impressive list of performances the band gained the nickname: "Zwijndrecht's musical ambassadors".
